AriseVida Care began 2026 with eight supportive housing beds. As of October 2, 2026, our program has expanded to 29 supportive housing beds—a net increase of 21 beds as we enter the fourth quarter.

This growth represents an important step in our work to improve access to recovery support in the Phoenix community. It also reflects a practical reality: people need a place to build their lives while they work on their health.

For members navigating substance use recovery, mental health challenges, or both, daily life continues between appointments. Having a steady home base can be an important part of that picture.

More capacity, with the individual still at the center

The increase from eight to 29 beds means our supportive housing program has more than tripled its capacity since the beginning of the year. We are proud of that progress, while recognizing that the number alone does not describe what each person needs.

Someone may be looking for more structure during early recovery. Another person may be preparing to leave a treatment setting and thinking about where to live next. Others may already be attending outpatient appointments while trying to find a living environment that better supports their goals.

Those situations call for individual conversations. Expanded capacity gives us more room to explore appropriate housing options; placement still depends on assessment, program fit, and availability. The 29-bed total describes capacity, not the number of beds currently open.

Recovery has an everyday side

Treatment plans exist alongside ordinary responsibilities: keeping appointments, managing transportation, preparing meals, getting rest, and making time for supportive relationships. When housing is uncertain, even planning the next day can become difficult.

Our reason for expanding is to strengthen the foundation around that everyday work. A place to return to, shared expectations, and opportunities for connection can all be part of a more consistent routine.

We also recognize that mental health and substance use concerns do not always fit into separate categories. Members deserve a plan that considers their needs together, with appropriate clinical care and practical support discussed as part of the broader picture.

Housing and treatment have different roles

AriseVida Care’s supportive housing offers a recovery-focused living environment. It is not inpatient or residential treatment, and the home itself does not replace mental health or substance use care. Clinical services are considered separately according to each member’s needs.

When exploring an option, ask about house expectations, costs, current availability, transportation arrangements, and how housing may fit alongside appointments or other responsibilities. Clear answers help a member decide whether an option makes sense for their situation.

Entering the fourth quarter with purpose

As we move into the final three months of 2026, we remain focused on the people behind this milestone: members working toward stability, families looking for a helpful next step, and providers coordinating continued care.

If you or someone you support would like to explore housing options, visit our supportive housing page or contact AriseVida Care. Our team can discuss the current options and what needs to be reviewed.

From eight beds to 29, this expansion is a meaningful step forward—and an opportunity to keep building support around the daily work of recovery.
